We make charging electric vehicles simple

Our fleet of electric cars and buses is growing steadily. We are therefore continuing to expand our charging infrastructure. By doing so, we will not only cover our own needs, but also provide power for the increasing numbers of electric vehicles in Germany. We are installing charging stations at our office buildings, depots and stations. DB Energie, DB's energy company, provides dedicated solutions. And to make charging green, we supply our charging stations with electricity from renewable sources whenever this is technically possible.

Charge@DB - Customized charging infrastructure

DB Energie and the DB Bahnbau Group are working together to provide the customized charging structure at our depots and office buildings from a single source, taking care of everything from planning and underground cable installation to power supply and maintenance.

With the DB charging stations, private electric vehicles can also be charged with renewable power at the station.

Charging at the station - DB charging station

In addition, we are also participating in the federal program "Publicly accessible charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany" under the project name DB Ladestation and also offer publicly accessible charging stations for cars at selected train stations. With the DB charging stations, e-cars can also be charged at the station using renewable power. The electricity from renewable energy sources is supplied by our energy service provider DB Energie. We have already installed such charging stations at some station forecourts in Germany.

With our tailor-made solutions, we as DB are actively driving the expansion of electric mobility in Germany both within and outside our company.
