Our train on two wheels

Leaving your car at home and cycling more often is good both for your health and for the environment. Our Call a Bike service offers our customers a more relaxed and eco-friendly way to get to their destination.

Cycle all over Germany

Over 15,000 bicycles belong to our Call a Bike family. They are available to borrow and cycle off in over 70 cities at around 300 regional and long-distance train stations. Sometimes they just have a different name, for example StadtRAD in Hamburg and Lüneburg or RegioRad in Stuttgart. But they all have one goal: climate-friendly onward travel in the city for a healthy climate.

Cargo pedelecs for climate-friendly transportation

In Hamburg, Lüneburg and Stuttgart, more and more cargo bikes with electric drives are joining our bicycle fleet. Whether for the weekly shop, a trip to the countryside or taking the kids to nursery - our cargo pedelecs are the right choice for fast and climate-friendly transportation in urban areas. The pedelecs can carry up to 60 kilograms of cargo in a charging box and luggage tray.

Refresh and expansion of our bike fleet

To make the riding experience of our bike sharing service even better, our bike fleet has been given a product update: This includes, for example, the red front basket on our Call a Bikes, which gives cyclists a better view of their luggage. The base of the baskets also offers space for solar panels, which provide the smart fitter with environmentally friendly energy. This makes borrowing and returning even more convenient. With our app, the bikes can be easily opened by scanning a QR code. With the additional LED display, you can also see from afar whether a bike is available. In addition to modernizing the bikes, we have also expanded our bike fleets in some cities, for example with our new generation of pedelecs in Stuttgart.
Following the switch to a purely stationary system, our bikes can be rented and parked in all cities at physical stations or at stations marked virtually in the app - for a uniform and user-friendly solution throughout Germany.
