With the bahn.business program, we as Deutsche Bahn offer our business travelers a selection of tickets and offers for climate-friendly mobility. Participants travel on DB local and long-distance trains on electrified routes with 100 percent renewable power. Indirect emissions and the diesel used in local transportation are offset 100 percent via atmosfair.
Every kilometer traveled by train counts. When companies use our bahn.business program for business customers to book travel, we provide them with a yearly report that shows the total distance of their employees' combined journeys. Individuals can also receive an overview of their environmental footprint, which displays the greenhouse gas emissions reductions that they achieved with rail travel compared to an airplane or company car. Companies can include this information in their sustainability reports.
Climate Cup 2025 - enter and win
With the Climate Cup, we want to put an even greater focus on sustainable business trips. Companies can collect "climate kilometers" on their business trips with DB and win BahnCards Business 1st class for all employees.
And this is how it works: For every domestic bahn.business business trip in Germany in 2025, participating companies automatically collect climate kilometers. Whoever achieves the largest percentage increase in climate kilometers compared to the previous year wins the Climate Cup 2025 within the respective category. The Climate Cup runs until December 31, 2025.
