We want to become even greener in our logistics services. We therefore conducted a pilot project named E-Log Biofleet to test a new generation of forklift trucks at DB Schenker in collaboration with various partners. These new forklifts are not only quiet, but also climate-friendly thanks to the fuel cells that power them, ensuring cleaner air during the trucks are driven.
A new indoor hydrogen refueling station for the fleet was tested at the same time. The closed pilot project allowed us to gain valuable experience in the eco-friendly propulsion of automotive transport systems. Because, as a pioneer of innovative logistics solutions, DB Schenker has set itself the goal of becoming the world's leading provider of green logistics.
